Mission Statement
Our purpose of this organization is to help students obtain gainful employment while in college and after graduation. We will strive for personal and professional growth of our members and ourselves by attending professional chapter meetings, regional conferences, company tours, networking, and listening to speakers. We will focus on ethics, values, commitment, and vision for strategic partners in today's global economy. Finally, we will respect individual differences and embrace diversity.
Goals for School Year
Fund Raisers:
Fall (2); Spring (2)
Community Service:
At least 1 per semester
Events:
One event each semester
Speakers:
One speaker per month
Company Tours:
At least 2 visits per semester
Other:
- Recruit new members; law students, psychology, communications
- One general meeting per month (9); three officer meetings per semester
- Attend parent chapter meetings and help with registration
- Attend parent chapter workshop
- Create resume book
- Create web page
- Attendance at conferences
- Vote in new officers, by at least 1 month prior to the end of the spring semester, for the upcoming year.
