ALEXANDRIA, Va. – The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) is pleased to announce the list of finalists for the 2016 SHRM Pinnacle Awards. The Awards, sponsored by Paychex, Inc., recognize, celebrate and share the innovative programs, activities and initiatives that SHRM chapters and state councils undergo in their communities.
With 67 entries, narrowing the field to the top 24 is never an easy task, but one that ensures that the best of the best are being recognized.
“For years, SHRM chapters and state councils have been willing to step up and help wherever they see a need,” said Elissa C. O’Brien, SHRM’s vice president of membership.
“That is the best thing about SHRM’s Pinnacle Awards, when we celebrate the “H” in the SHRM acronym.”
Winners will be recognized in three categories (Serving the Professional, Advancing the Profession, and Enhancing the SHRM Community) by four size divisions (small, medium/large, mega/super mega and state councils).
Winners of the 2016 Pinnacle Awards will be announced Nov. 18, in Washington, D.C., during SHRM’s Volunteer Leader’s Summit.
