Update on SHRM21 Annual Conference & Expo Policies for State Councils and Chapters
EBlasts - Normally, SHRM halts facilitated eBlast requests from our State Councils and Chapters to our At Large Members during the 30 days leading up to the SHRM Annual Conference. To support your conferences and events, we are making a modification for this year. EBlast requests from State Councils and Chapters during this time will fall into one of two groups:

For State Council and Chapter events held between August 15 – October 15: Eliminating Blackouts: For any State Council or Chapter conference or major annual event held between August 15 and October 15, we are eliminating eBlast blackouts.
For all other State Councils or Chapters who are not holding an event between August 15 and October 15: The blackout period on SHRM-supported eBlasts will begin on Sunday, August 15, and end on Sunday, September 12. EBlasts will resume on Monday, September 13.

Restrictions on Affiliate Programs During the SHRM Annual Conference:
Under normal circumstances, affiliates are restricted from holding major events in the 30 days prior to SHRM’s Annual Conference & Expo. That requirement is removed for 2021.
